Puzzle Munch Edvard

Edvard Munch Jigsaw Puzzles

Painter, Engraver

Edvard Munch was born into a modest family and had an unhappy childhood: his mother and sister died when he was only 5 years old. In 1881, he enrolled at the Oslo School of Art and was a gifted student. He made his name at an exhibition in 1892 after travelling extensively. Expressionism is a movement that seeks to express feelings and emotions. In his works, Munch most often illustrates feelings of sadness, illness and death. He left about 1000 paintings and more than 4000 drawings and watercolours.

Birth : 12 December 1863 in Loten, Norvège.
Death : 23 January 1944 (at the age of 80) in Ekely, Norvège.
